Artist History
Kate Cassidy is from Glasgow Scotland, her growing reputation and brilliant live performances have earned her the title Scotland’s New Queen of Rock, and is much respected as a unique singer/songwriter. Kate has lived and worked in London, New York, California, Nashville and Alabama Tennessee, co-writing and singing original material, Kate has worked with such talents as Steve Skinner producer/engineer (Tailor Dane), songwriters Shelly Pecan (Hit and Run Music Publishing), Kerryn Tolhurst, All Fired Up (Pat Benatar) and many other talented artists from all over.
Kate has worked with Steve Melton of Muscle Shoals Alabama, producer engineer, (Joan Biaz, Rod Stewart, Joe Cocker, Art Garfunkel, Wilson picket) etc. From Kate’s recent appearances in Scotland Manchester, London and Germany unexpecting audiences have been surprised and fascinated, at the ability of this voice and the force from were it comes. It is electric, powerful and alluring, Kate’s Style of Rock R&B song writing and self-determination, has given her an edge that is more like a one woman rock band.
